Scholarships
Projeto Uerê developed a system of scholarships that allows its students to attend private schools and, therefore, make contact with other social classes.
The scholarship is valid for the nine years of basic education. Depending on the student’s school performance, the scholarship may be extended to high school and even to college.
This is a very successful program, and children from UERÊ are the ones who present the best school performance.
Sponsors can be individuals, groups, schools, churches and firms. It is a commitment of at least two years, and covers tuition, uniforms, shoes (3/year), school supplies, books, transportation, snacks and breakfast, tours, and administrative fees.
